Started in 2021. The Shute Family Foundation’s annual golf tournament to benefit Tunnels to Towers.

2021
The Shute Family Foundation hosted its first annual golf outing with family and friends. Despite cold, rainy weather the day after Thanksgiving, 38 golfers participated. Encouraged by the enthusiasm and support, the foundation committed to making the outing an annual tradition.
We raised $1,800.
2022Our second annual brought a whole lot more friends. With 120 golfers braved a sweltering 100-degree day in May.
We raised $5,000.
2023For the first time, the event was held on September 11th, in honor of those who lost their lives on 9/11/2001. We had a full field of golfers (144) and a lot more support from our sponsors.
We raised $13,400.
2024The tournament again sold out and saw even greater community involvement.
The Suffield Fire Department proudly displayed a Tunnel to Towers banner from their ladder truck, and police departments from Hartford, Agawam, the Connecticut State Police, and the Suffield Police Department were represented.
Dan DeLeon, the representative from Tunnel to Towers Foundation, joined us for the first time.
We raised $26,500.
2025 The 5th Annual and another sold out year, and even more sponsorship and community involvement.
By the grace of God, we received a $100,000 anonymous donation!
